On your last post you said we are in war with the left. What are the Left? I will give my definition and look to see if you will add to it, correct it, or agree with it. I will start my history at the turn of the century for this definition. A leftist believed that the government should be there to help all individuals maintain their freedom to live by supplying many social economic programs for the less fortunate and elderly. At the time, we had large amounts of European immigration from many less fortunate and oppressed individuals. These programs started Unions, Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, etc. It all led to the creation of the income tax, (something had to support these programs). Now as time went by, so did the social economic diversification in America. Especially in the last 30 Years. Although the country is not perfect, unfortunately it never will be, in the last 30 years we have seen a true melting pot in social economics. There is still a large division between upper class and middle class, but the separation between middle class and lower class has shrunk. The Racial and Sexual economic discrimination inside these classes have diminished. Now we know that SS, Medicare and Medicaid are on the brink of bankruptcy, (understatement), but these as well as unions themselves are separating the middle class from the upper class. Actually creating road blocks from people jumping into other classes. To make it worse, expansion of social economic programs, (Leftists agenda) will make it nearly impossible for one to jump into another class, aka “accomplish the American dream”. So racism and sexism in the workforce is declining, but their will be two classes in the near future whose discrimination will hit all time highs, the are the Have and the Have Nots. It order to eliminate this, you need let people take chances, make mistakes with ramifications, learn and grow and create, not control. Government should guide their children (citizens), not control them. Leftist agenda’s are based on a beautiful Utopian theory, but realistically they are just chaining down the American people. This is my view and maybe I am wrong, so Justin and others, please Educate Me!!!

Perfect showing of how politicians push legislation on How Rich they can get. Gov. Scrooge McPaterson of NY is pushing a bill to let Supermarkets and Convenience Stores sell wine. Why? He says NY can make millions? Really, with those millions are we going to pay unemployement to all the liquor store owners and employees that go out of business. All the liquor wholesalers that are out of jobs. We all know convenience stores check ID and will properly pay all taxes and licensing fees. Haaa! What a joke, so why? Maybe because Wegmans, King Kullen, and Stop & Shop are paying the Governor millions to get this bill passed!!! Madd (Mothers against drunk driving) are neither against or for it??? What? Looks like they had their hands out also. It is a sad day for many individuals if this passes. In case your wondering, supermarkets will not hire one more individual if they get to sell wine? No production of jobs, just elimination!! Great move greedy Gov. Say no to wine in supermarkets and sign all petitions to fight it. The little guy has a hard enough time in this economy, let’s give them one break!!!

Here is a simple plan that is free to the government and uses 2 factors that differ the US from every other country, Capitalism and Great Business Minds:
If you think of this in a business perspective, use the Governments best asset as negotiation tool. People, the government has the ability to offer a health plan to hundreds of millions of people, there is no capitalist business ran today that would like to have access to that client list. Use it and this is how.
Government programs fail when they are ran by the government because they are in the business to govern and work within a balance budget. Capitalists business works to make the most amount of money. Let this truth be an advantage. This is how:

Open up a competition to all health insurance companies to be a government sponsored health plan. Only 3 to 5 companies will be admitted. Guidelines of who will be admitted will rely on these requirements:
PPO’s only
Co-pays range $10 to $100 per visit
Hospital Co Pay $1500 max
Subscription discount plan
Monthly premiums to start 40% less than average market price. (How)*
No more than a 3% increase over inflation rate annually.**
No discrimination or pre existing conditions***

* How- They would and could lower there prices significantly because you are giving them a boost of customers roughly 25 million government employees immediately, and again a client list of 300 million people. What capitalistic Corp. would not cut prices for that? They will be lined up at the door of the white house begging to be part of it. How can they accomplish this? Capitalistic business can accomplish anything as history shows.
** 3% increase above inflation can be expanded to 5 or 7% by giving free hmo plans to unemployed and supplements to seniors. Every million given 1% increase is allowed.
*** Instead of pre existing conditions eliminations and discrimination, give $1000 tax credit to medical professional corporations and the insurance companys for each patient that falls into healthy guidelines. Healthy guidelines can be established by surgeon general and blood tests must be taken from independent diagnostic firms, nut the company gives the results names of patients and their Dr. and Government refunds them and the doctor $1000 each. So instead of punishing the sick, reward the Dr.’s and insurance providers for pushing us to be healthy. This will give Dr.’s and Health insurances nice incentive to curtail obesity, smoking and other bad habits.

Finally, for pharmaceutical companies, control drug pricing by using governments #2 asset, regulation. Put strict guidelines on drug pricing. If companies are found abusing or not following these guidelines: 1. charge them penalties 2. remove government funding or 3. (most important and painful) remove patents. With these regultions, they will fall in line.

All politicians vote on policy with there wallets. Well Many do, there are some self made millionaires that vote with an ethical conscience but many vote by the almighty dollar. No leader of this great country ever used this fact to manipulate things to go his way by bullying using America’s livelyhood as a weapon…until.
Lets look at the facts
Fact 1) Democrats lose a KEY vote in Mass. and Obama the next day wants smaller and gov’t controlled banks.
Fact 2) Corporations win a huge ruling in the Supreme court and the next day during the state of the union, Obama cries foul.
Fact 3) Every economic sign points to recovery except 1***(will get to this) and Obama wants another stimulus package for job creation, where his first one cost us a few billion dollars and a few million jobs???

So what is next. I like Bernanke smart man, good in this position but one weakness, he is not stong in the confrontational department. Easily bullied. Not an accident that Obama would like him to stick around.
Here it is the one negative economic sign for 2010***POLITICAL POLICY.
Now is there weakness, corruption and greed in corporate america, Yes. As much as political america, not even close. Ohh, politicians have to answer to the people who vote, but corporations have to listen to shareholders who scream because of their wallets not their emotions. Corporations got publically spanked in 08, when did the politicians?
