“It’s my party and I’ll spend if I want to!”
Remember the good old days? Yea, the good old days of 2009 when Obamas budget was only a mere $3.5 trillion? Its seems like forever ago when our President was all about saving the dollar, saving jobs and making sure our debt and deficit didnt go higher than they needed to.
Well fill up your glasses and raise them up in the air! I’d like to make a toast. Here’s to the days when we were fiscally responsible, the days when we saved or created jobs with “bold and sweeping” economic recovery acts, those days of bipartisan decisions that put the future of our country and economy in the hands of the people who make it work.
here’s to 2009 baby, Cheers!
OK, jokes over. Lets talk about the new budget, the $3.8 trillion one.
Just when you thought is was over (the spending) he throws this one at ya!
Now, Obama is telling Americans that there will be a spending freeze. A freeze on very little. This “freeze” doesnt start till next year, and it only covers at most %12 of the newley unveiled debt and deficit exploding fiscal year 2011 budget. Ever wonder what it would be like to be led off a cliff, know you’re going to die and not know how to stop it? well this feeling of hopelesness and despair might be the closest thing to it.
The office of managment and budget talks about how Obama’s new budget puts forward $1.2 trillion in deficit reduction, and with assumed savings on war spendin it would be $2.1 trillion over the next ten years. But what they aren’t telling you is that when Obama is finished spending the real projected deficit will be over $10 trillion in the next decade. So now we must praise the man for spending more money than ever before in our country’s history, creating a deficit of over $10 trillion in a decade with only a few years worth of spending, then claiming he will reduce it by a insignificant amount? Get the hell out of here! this is ridiculous! when the hell are the majority of Americans that work for a living stand up and demand that our elected officials no matter what party they belong to stop this man?
Now, here and there you will hear a few hosts of a show sound surprised that Obama is still barreling forward with all of his spending. I’m not surprised! Are you? I haven’t forgotten the 2008 campaign where Obama compared our economy to that of the one during the great depression, saying that F.D.R. had the right idea, he just didn’t spend enough fast enough.
Well folks, is THIS President spending enough fast enough for you? Do you feel secure in this enviroment? I know I don’t.
